"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm,
and carry them close to his heart, and shall gently lead those that are with young." Isaiah 40:11

One of God's Little Lambs

Today we bought a blanket to replace one that had mysteriously disappeared.  It was a gift from a friend and the blanket looked like it had a sheeps pattern on it.  I try not to highlight any one gift because we have received so many gifts, and not just the ones that come in wrapping if you know what I mean!!! But I was so very disappointed that we had lost this one gift...and would you believe it? Today, we found one that is very similar...and it was the last one on the shelf!!! I hope you are reading this Rachel Friesen because I know that the one you bought our baby Rachel was also the last one on the shelf too....wow.

I remember losing something very special when one of our little ones was very little. It seemed like not a big deal, but I was super disappointed. So I understand. Glad that you were able to get another blanket; it's beautiful and Rachel is such a lil' precious one in it.

thank you kendra for some more beautiful pictures of your little angel! she is so sweet and beautiful. and thank-you too for continuing to take time to write to all of us - even when your thoughts are difficult and painful - i am growing and learning about God as i watch you walk with him.
glad too that you found another blanket!! i misplaced an amazing blanket that my mom made for simon and i am still sad for its loss . . . i keep hoping it might show up in a thrift store somewhere or something. hey i also wanted to tell you that you and i both knit brown and green blankets for our babies! cool choice :D
lots of love!!
oh, and i also want to encourage you to exercise! i know how hard it is to get off of the cookie track and onto the discipline track, but it is so good for your body, soul and mind. that has been a big struggle after the birth of each of my babies (even worse for ezra who was born just before christmas . . . ) but i always feel better about most things when i can get my body moving. do your kids like to walk? i found that was a low-risk place to start :D my encouragement to you kendra!!
