"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm,
and carry them close to his heart, and shall gently lead those that are with young." Isaiah 40:11

"We were crushed and completely overwelmed, and we thought we would never live through it.  In fact, we expected to die.  But as a result, we learned not to rely on ourselves, but on God who can raise the dead." - 2 Corinthians 1:8-9

We haven't met.. I don't even remember how I found your blog. But I want you to know that I have been praying for you daily as you walk this excruciating road. May Christ be honored in all that's ahead... I believe that He's very near to your little one as she struggles - and am praying that He is very near to you. Are you familiar with the life and work of Nancy Guthrie? (www.nancyguthrie.com) Her words might be some that you seek out in the days ahead. She's a marvelous writer and has been through what you're facing....

Blessings from a friend,

In these last days, you have been constantly in our prayers and thoughts. That God's presence would completely envelope you, carry you, and give you peace.

I've come back to this passage several times since you posted it this morning and every time I get chills. Perfect. Absolutely Perfect Love.

This is so hard, so painful, the holding and letting go, as one comment said, but it is so good to know that God is right there, where we are with his arms around you. I just wanted to let you know that as I read your last few blogs, tears of anguish welled up from the depths of my being, knowing how very hard these days are for you. Many people are praying, which helps, but it still is so painful.
Love you,
Martha
