"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm,
and carry them close to his heart, and shall gently lead those that are with young." Isaiah 40:11

Thank-you

We had a great party last night! I am SO GLAD that we could celebrate her birthday with you. Thank-you for showing your support for us in all the many ways:)  I am deeply grateful to you...

We are having another tough day.  Rachel is still not eating (she sucks a few times weakly and then stops).  And she is very unhappy.  It seems like she is in pain for some reason and I don't know what to do for her.  She's needing alot of care today. On top of that Abigail caught some flu bug (sorry to all the kids that played with her last night!!!! We had no idea she was sick...) and she has been throwing up.  Rachel might be dealing with this too, on top of trying to recover from the spells.  Ethan has a cold.  And so because of this, we partially moved home today.  Dave is busy out here in this area today.  The kids missed a birthday party today that they were so excited about. I'm going to go back to the FH tonight with just Rachel and I'll return in the morning.  More ups and downs, plans fail, more changes. I've got the words to a song by Christa Wells in my head today."Everything moves but You." It seems fitting for days like these...

We had a great time at the party. Thanks for all your hard work preparing for it.

Sorry that the kids aren't feeling well, we may have been carriers of it cause the boy I babysit is also sick today(my kids aren't yet). Hope the sickness is shortlived.

Have a good night at FH, I'm so glad that you will get rest.

Hugs,
Noella

dave and kendra - again, i just caught up on the pain and anguish of these last few days for you. oh how my heart longs together with yours that God would be merciful and grant rachel a peaceful passing in her sleep, and that these dreadful spells would stop . . . that her last days would truly be peaceful and full of big smiles. but i do trust together with you that He does know best, and that He loves her even more than you do (what a big thought) and that He weeps when she is crying.

i rejoice that you were able to celebrate her life with your friends and church family. what a milestone! and, i saw that lovely cake. how i would have loved to have made that for her and for all of you :D but good job kendra, on letting that go.

dear Father, may you be gracious and compassionate to david, kendra, ethan, abigail, and rachel. may you shine your face of love and care on their family and may your light penetrate deep into their hearts and minds, banishing all dark thoughts and fear. may they take comfort in knowing that you are their great high priest; that you too have watched a child struggle to take a breath; you understand their deep sorrow. please have mercy on them.
