Sixteen Month Birthday
Rachel would be sixteen months old today. We miss you dear one. I found your baby spoons in the drawers today and it reminded me of how wonderful it was to watch you enjoy food for a solid week before you died. It makes me wonder what tastes you might be enjoying now. We love you!

Can't imagine how much you miss her. Praying that you continue to be comforted by the One who is probably sitting up in heaven, having a wonderful feast with Rachel!
It's amazing how they almost live with us in a way, long after they are gone, because of their shadow that we imagine with us as we go forward in our lives. What they would be doing, what they would say, how they would look... these are special things that let us feel them close by all the time.
