and carry them close to his heart, and shall gently lead those that are with young." Isaiah 40:11

Praying for you today as I know you have a busy day ahead, shoppping for suitable clothes etc. That can be stressful at the best of times, never mind at a time like this. But it's one of those things that has to be done. Praying that you and your Mom will even have some fun. Love MOM

i was watching my two boys play in the sandbox this morning. and, i was trying to wrap my head around what life would be like without one of them. i started to sing/pray this song for your family - may you experience the depth of the Father's love for you today:

How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocing voice,
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

I can't stop thinking about you and your family...it just breaks my heart. Here is a beautiful song and story from a woman who also lost a child, may it comfort you in this time.

I have followed your blog from the beginning and my heart goes out to you and pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you at this extremely difficult time. You knew it was coming but when it does it hurts so deeply. We are now struggling with my 2 year old grandson Dawson who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. It does not seem fair for the little angels to suffer so, but the Lord is in control and our faith is in Him. You and your family have endured much and I thank you for your total openness on your blog. You are very strong by doing that. May you be comforted by God's grace and love.
