Can you believe that this little girl is almost one year old?!!?!! We might even have a one year birthday party next month! Wow - when I think back to those horrible first weeks...I had no idea what incredible joy she would give us!

At Fish Creek Park
We left Rachel at the Flames House on Monday afternoon for about 4 hours.
We took a picnic and the kids rode their bikes. 
We did succumb to getting helmets, although why they need them when they drive barely 5km/h with training wheels is beyond me!  They sure love wearing them though:)

I am still adding to my "Thanksgiving list".  I often leave it until the end of the day and even thinking of five things is sometimes challenging.  I noticed that food seems to make it on my list almost every day! (God made food for us to savor and enjoy right??) This thanksgiving practice has been such a good exercise for me.  Here are some of my favourites from the last few weeks.


19. Ripping the plastic off of the patio doors for spring

32.  A Friend's insistence that we throw a big Birthday bash for Rachel's One year b-day

61.  Pretending to be pirates with Ethan and Abigail
67.  Ethan's soft heart towards God
71.  Rachel's giggles when Ethan and Abigail played their xylophone for her
