More Pictures

Here's a picture of our little sweet pea.  Isn't she adorable?

And even though this blog is dedicated to Rachel, I want to share a few pictures of her big brother and sister.  They can sometimes get forgotten and the longer that Rachel is here, I am realizing how important it is to enjoy and treasure time with them too!!  When I look at this picture of Abigail, I can't help wondering what Rachel's experience in heaven will be like...  I love imagining Rachel as a little Abigail - running and laughing with pure joy, studying the flowers...

And I am also adding a picture of Ethan and his picture of a whale, his faveorite animal. He's a pretty good artist, isn't he?  He drew the same thing on our wall once.  I like this one better!

Ethan and Abigail would also like to say thank-you to all the kids out there that are praying for baby Rachel.  Thank-you for loving our little sister too!

  1. Hello David, Kendra, Ethan, Abigail and little Rachel!!! I belong to a church in Hobart Washington where Ruth Smoker Morris, is the Pastor's wife. She has shared your story with us and you have another church praying for you all and your precious Rachel. Psalm 139 comes to mind for you and I pray that God glorifies Himself through your love and faith. (((HUGS))) to you all,

  2. What precious pictures! Rachel is so sweet all wrapped up in the labours of her mother's love and I love the one of Abigail and the flowers. Does Ethan draw things by themes? Our kids used to get into drawing one thing (like whales) and would then produce hundreds of whale pictures for a few days or weeks, and then on to the next idea!

  3. abigail, you are such a beautiful little girl and such a great big sister to rachel!! and ethan, what a great picture of a whale!! you are a wonderful artist! nadia is also an artist. in fact, she tells us she has been an artist for a very long time already . . . she says she started being an artist when she was three :)
kendra and dave, you are such good parents! if i think of some of the possibilities of parents for rachel, i am so thankful God choose you (not that i wish this pain for you but that you have chosen to let her live and love her every minute of every day . . . ). is there any greater blessing for a child than the true and pure love of a parent? i don't think so . . . rachel is so lucky to have you both . . . and to have such a cool big brother and sister too!

  7. Beautiful children. And I'm not at all prejudiced. Ethan's expression is priceless, and so Ethan! He must have been asked to 'smile' for the camera. Love you all, MOM
